    PixelPars light ALFC church

Abundant Living Faith Center (ALFC) is a nondenominational, multicultural church with over 15,000 active members - located in El Paso, Texas. The ALFC offers a diverse mix of ministries and activities.

During a major expansion and renovation project, the church now occupies a new 3,600-seat main auditorium – which features 36 PixelPar 90s centre stage, installed behind opaque panels creating a back-drop of stunning colour washes.

ALFC’s Lighting Director Jimmy Salas explains: “The PixelPars are great! We wanted easy and reliable color-changing lights that wouldn’t require a lot of power.  I get the colors I want, when I want them – they’re very bright and use hardly any power. I run 36 Par90s on 2 outlets!”

The PixelPars add another dimension to the stage and integrate seamlessly alongside the generic and moving lights. All the lighting fixtures, both in number and capability, were carefully chosen to offer maximum effect and lighting coverage.

The fact that ALFC records some of its services for television broadcast added another level of challenge for the lighting system. It was essential that the stage and house lighting balanced properly for color, uniformity and intensity.

The PixelPars are controlled via an ETC Eos.

The PixelPars were recommended by technical consultants Paul Luntsford (PLA Designs) and Richard Allen (RAD).
